(C) No. 7505/2016 The petitioners herein have an alternative remedy and can invoke and initiate arbitration proceedings under Sections 70 and 71 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003.

In view of the equally efficacious alternative remedy stipulated and provided in the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petitions.

While possibly there would not be any dispute about the total payments made; the nature of payment, whether any adjustment etc., should be allowed, rate of interest and period for which interest should be paid would be disputed and debatable issues.

Accordingly, we are not issuing notice in the writ petitions, leaving it open to the petitioners to invoke Sections 70 and 71 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003. '4SANJIV KHANNA, J.
