% 29.08.2016 W.P.(C) 7598/2016 C.M.No.31275/2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that certain unauthorized officials of the DDA and the Revenue Authorities (arrayed as respondent nos.1 and 2) have come to his property and have threatened demolition. The last of the visit was on 19.8.2016 where the petitioner was orally informed that unless they vacate the property demolition would take place qua their property on 25.8.2016. Prayer is that the respondents be refrained from carrying out the aforenoted action.

On advance notice, learned counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2

have put in appearance. Respondent no.1 submits that DDA has no role to play in this as the enforcement is done by the Corporation if it is urban land and if it is rural land revenue officials may be involved. Contention of the petitioner on this score is that the land has now become urbanised.

Learned counsel appearing for SDM (respondent no.2) under instructions states that no action has been initiated by the Department. In this view of the factual scenario, no further orders are called for in this petition.

Petition disposed of.
