CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.P.GARG
O R D E R
% 24.04.2017 1.
Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to challenge the correctness of an order dated 13.2.2017 by which warrants of arrest were issued against the petitioner. 2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and have examined the file. Impugned order reflects that execution proceedings are pending against the petitioner as he failed to pay arrears of maintenance despite various opportunities granted. He even did not opt to appear on several dates before the Trial Court. Warrants of attachment issued for recovery of the arrears of maintenance remain unexecuted. The order specifically records that the execution petition pertains to the arrear of maintenance for the period from 28.7.2011 till CRL.M.C. 1647/2017
14.1.2013 prior to the remarriage of the decree holder/respondent No.2.
3.
I find no illegality or material irregularity in the impugned order and the present petition being devoid of merits is dismissed in limini.
4.
All pending application(s) also stand disposed of. 5.
Copy of the order be sent to the court concerned for information.
S.P.GARG, J.
