% 20.09.2016 Petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter wherein petitioners assaulted respondent no.2. This incident resulted in registration of FIR 277/16 under Sections 308/34 IPC at police station Mundka against the petitioners, on the complaint of respondent no.2.
Petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their family members and common friends. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Rajinder of police station Mundka. Respondent no.2 submits that FIR may be quashed in view of the compromise entered between her and the petitioners. Keeping in mind that a quarrel ensued between the neighbours which
disputes they have settled in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 277/16 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Mundka and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
