% 26.08.2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of his application seeking allotment of an alternate plot having been filed in the year 1989 by the predecessor of the petitioner namely Gokul Singh the same has not been answered.

The averments in the writ petition disclose that the award bearing no. 162/86-87 was announced and the land measuring 69 bighas and 16 biswas (share of Gokul Singh) was acquired. Gokul Singh has applied for alternate plot in the year 1989. His application was given No. F.31(2)/29/89/L&B Alt. This submission finds to be correct in view of the reply sent by the Land and Building Department wherein reference of the same application number has been made. The grievance of the petitioner is that his application has not been

decided up to date.

The respondent will ensure that the aforenoted application of the petitioner (if not already decided) will be decided in accordance with law on merits as per the seniority list and within an outer limit of three months from today.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.
