% 21.09.2017 Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are known to each other. They are students. A perusal of FIR shows that a quarrel broke out between them on a trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No.538/2016 under Sections 451/323/354/509/506/34 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present in the Court and have been identified by SI Jai Chand, PS Mukherjee Nagar. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 4, voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.538/2016 under Sections 451/323/354/509/506/34 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
