W.P.(CRL) 2509/2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.306/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 308/ 323/ 34 IPC against the petitioners.

Issue notice. Mr. Mahajan accepts notice on behalf of the State. Respondent No.2/ complainant is present in Court. He accepts notice. He is identified by the IO. He states that he has settled his disputes with the petitioner and he does not wish to pursue his complaint any further. The

complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
