W.P.(C) 7566/2016 & C.M. No.31216/2016 Petitioner is stated to be vending near the ladies toilet opposite shop No.19A, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi. In support of his submission he has placed on record one document which is stated to be prosecution challan for the year 2012. Submission of learned counsel for petitioner is that in terms of Section 3(3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 he is adequately protected.
On advance notice counsel for the respondents has put in appearance. Learned counsel for respondent no.1 submits that the document filed by the petitioner does not vest any right in the petitioner.
Be that at it may, Town Vending Committee (TVC) qua respondent no.1 has since been constituted. The petitioner is advised to get her grievance, if any, addressed before the TVC. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
