CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 14.08.2018 Respondent no.2 Mr. Avinash Chaudhary is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Jai Singh of police station Inder Puri. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, in Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi vide a Memorandum of Settlement dated 4th July, 2018. He further submits that he has no objection in case FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against petitioner.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 200/2015 under Sections 308/341/34 IPC registered at Police Station Inder Puri and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
