The petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of the divorce petition filed on 9th July, 2012 in which the issues were framed on 3rd August, 2013 and the case is still pending at the stage of the recording of the petitioner's evidence. It is submitted that the respondent is delaying the proceedings. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondent disputes that the respondent is delaying the proceedings. It is submitted that the respondent shall not seek any unnecessary adjournment in the petition.

The petition is allowed and the learned Family Court shall endeavour to decide the same within a period of one year from today. 4.
Learned counsel for the both the parties agree not to seek any unnecessary adjournment before the Trial court. 5.
The Trial Court record be returned back forthwith. 6.
Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
