By the petition, petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file special leave petition and re-establish social ties. He also challenges the communication dated 13th July, 2018 whereby his application for parole was rejected on the ground that the offence of kidnapping for ransom committed by him is heinous in nature and the petitioner has just spent 1 year and eight months in prison after conviction.

A status report has been filed. As per the status report, family of the petitioner comprising of his mother and nephew is residing at Village Dhani Phogat, PS Sadar, Charkhi Dadri, Dist. Bhiwani, Haryana. The other members of the petitioner's family namely his father, sister-in-law all have passed away. As per the nominal roll the conduct of the petitioner in jail is W.P.(CRL) 2433/2018
satisfactory. Petitioner was in custody for just over three years during the course of trial whereafter he was granted bail and on conviction he surrendered to custody.

Considering the facts verified, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the condition that the surety of the petitioner will keep the mobile phone in active mode so that the petitioner can be traced, if need arises. 4.
Petition is disposed of.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
