The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking directions to the respondent that the investigations be referred to a Special Investigation Team or CBI to look into the allegations as set out in the petition and also to pay Compensation to those illegally detained, assaulted or not properly medically treated and to quash the criminal prosecution of the petitioner. 2.

Learned Standing Counsel on behalf of the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 submits that the Chargesheet has already been filed in the present FIR and the trial is ongoing.

So far as the direction that the investigations be conducted by Special Investigation or CBI is concerned, the same has become infructuous in view of the Chargesheet which has already been filed. 4.
