% 28.02.2017 The prayer in the petition seeks a direction qua the respondent to pay the penalty and interest on the excess amount of property tax purported to have been paid by the petitioner company to the respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent has put in appearance. This court notes that in this petition notice has not been issued till today. This Court is of the view that in view of the averments made in the writ petition as also the prayer these averments may be treated as a representation to the Department, the Department shall answer these averments contained in the writ petition in accordance with law within an outer limit of six weeks from the date of the aforenoted representation. A formal representation to the said effect be placed

before the Department from which date the time period will commence.

Petition disposed of.
