Present

FIR No.44/2016 under Sections 380/506/34 IPC was registered at police station Mandir Marg on the complaint of respondent no.2 Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that on 2nd March, 2016, he was driving the bus bearing no.DL1VC 2043.

When he reached near petrol pump situated at Bhai Veer Singh Marg, at about 7:15 am petitioners came on motorcycle and scooty, stopped the bus and forcibly took away the file containing RC, Permit, Insurance papers etc.

Petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably. Respondent no.2 is present

in Court and has been identified by HC Gopal PS Mandir Marg. Respondent no.2 submits that matter has been settled between him and the petitioners. It may be noted that investigations are still pending. Keeping in mind the nature of offence and settlement arrived at between the parties at the initial stage of investigation, the present FIR No.44/2016 under Sections 380/506/34 IPC registered at police station Mandir Marg is quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
