CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.P.GARG
O R D E R
% 08.02.2017 (1) Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.524/15 under Section 135 of Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station R.K.Puram. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant/respondent No.2 amicably.
(2) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 is present before the Court. I have enquired from him whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably. He has informed that the matter has been settled and all agreed dues have been paid, and he has no CRL.M.C. 3224/2016
objection to the quashing of the FIR.
(3) The petition is supported by the affidavits of the parties. (4) Since the complainant/Respondent No.2 has voluntarily settled the dispute with the petitioners and they have paid the dues, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.524/15 under Section 135 of Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station R.K.Puram and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. (5) The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
