The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, praying that an Arbitrator be appointed to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Faculty Engagement Agreement dated 19.11.2010. 2.

The learned counsel for the respondent states that he respondent has no objection if Mr Sanjoy Ghose, Advocate is appointed as an arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes in relation to the above mentioned agreement. 3.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, Mr Sanjoy Ghose, Advocate (Mobile No.9811118889) is appointed as a sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes arising out of the Faculty Engagement Agreement. This is subject to the arbitrator making the necessary disclosure under Section 12(1) of the Act and not being ineligible under Section 12(5) of the Act. The arbitrator shall fix his fees in consultation with the counsel for the

parties.

The parties are at liberty to approach the arbitrator for eliciting the necessary disclosure or for further proceedings. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
