% 29.05.2017 The present petition has been instituted under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of habeas corpus filed by the brother of Shamshad who was missing since 6th February, 2017. Today, it has been disclosed by learned counsel for the State that the body of the missing person has been found in the mortuary of district Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Information has been supplied to the family members of the deceased. However, they are not co-operating
w ith the State and the body has been identified by the villagers mainly Latif Khan and Shah Alam. He further informs that the DNA has been preserved by the Autopsy Surgeon during the course of postmortem of the body.
