% 26.04.2017 Issue notice. Mr. Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Status report has been tendered in Court and is taken on record. The petitioner has preferred this writ petition to seek writ of Habeas Corpus for production of his daughter namely Bharti. According to the petitioner, his daughter Bharti has gone missing since 07.04.2017. The petitioner has suspected respondent no. 3 and his son to be involved in the kidnapping of his daughter. As per the status report, Bharti is married to Himanshu, the son of respondent no. 3, who is impleaded as respondent no.4. Bharti and Himanshu both are

present in Court. They have produced the copy of their marriage registration certificate issued by the Registrar at Gaziabad. Bharti states that she has married Himanshu out of her own free will and accord. She is admittedly a major. She states that she does not wish to return to the petitioner.

In these circumstances, no further orders are called for. The petition stands dismissed.
