% 18.08.2017 The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC seeking quashing of FIR No.13/2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at Police Station-Harsh Vihar, Delhi.

Counsel for the parties submits that the parties have amicably settled their disputes and petitioner No. 1 (husband) and respondent No. 2 (wife) are residing together for the last one year.

Statements of the parties except petitioner No. 6 have already been recorded on 16.08.2017. Petitioner No. 6 is present today and her statement has been recorded separately.

In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily out of their own free will and without any coercion, CRL.M.C. 1650/2017

pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No.13/2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at Police Station-Harsh Vihar, Delhi, and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed. The petition is disposed of.
