O R D E R

The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of Parole for a period of three months to enable him to file Special Leave Petitions before the Hon'ble Supreme Court against the orders passed by this court dated 20.12.2016 by which 18 Criminal Revision Petitions of the petitioner were dismissed.

Status report has been filed today in the court. The same is taken on record.

As per the status report, the address of the son of the petitioner, who is residing at C-504, Oberoi Gardens, CHS Ltd., Thakur Village Kandivali East, Mumbai, has been verified where his son has been residing for the last four years. It is submitted by the learned ASC

that this is a tenanted premises.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that since the Special Leave Petition is to be filed, the petitioner would furnish the surety of his wife or his son in addition to a local surety.

In these circumstances, to enable the petitioner to avail of his statutory right to file Special Leave Petitions, he be released on Parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on the following terms and conditions: - (i) he shall furnish his personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties in the like amount, out of them one shall be the local surety, to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.

(ii) the petitioner shall maintain good conduct and behaviour during his release.

(iii) he will provide one mobile number of both the sureties to the SHO of the concerned Police Station, which shall be kept in active mode and shall not be changed without permission of the court. (iv) he shall report to the SHO, PS Bhajan Pura, Delhi once a week on every Monday.

(v) Whenever the petitioner intends to visit Mumbai during Parole to reside with his son during his vist in Mumbai, he shall report to the SHO of the nearest police station of the residence of his son on every Monday.

(vi) He shall not leave the country without permission of the court.

(vii) He shall surrender his passport to SHO, P.S. Bhajanpura, Delhi.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.

Copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for compliance. 8.
