% 02.02.2016 Since the petitioners admittedly have alternative effective proceedings available to them to challenge the impugned notice dated 09th October, 2014, the present writ petition and pending application are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate legal proceedings.

To facilitate filing of such alternative proceedings, this Court directs that for a period of fifteen days from today, the impugned order/notice dated 09th October, 2014 shall not be given effect to. This Court clarifies that it has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the controversy.
