% 05.10.2016 On the complaint of respondent no. 2, present FIR No. 468/2016 under Sections 323/509/506/354(A)/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Sarai Rohilla against the petitioner and his workers (respondent no. 4). It is alleged in the FIR that petitioner and respondent no. 4 had quarrelled with the respondent no. 2 and her husband, that is, respondent no. 3 resulting in injuries to the respondent no. 3. Respondent no. 2 has alleged that in quarrel, petitioner caught hold of her hand and pulled her inside. Respondent no. 2 is the tenant of petitioner.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes vide Settlement Agreement dated 13th August, 2016. Respondent

nos. 2 and 3, who are present in Court and have been identified by the Investigating Officer/SI Veena, P.S. Sarai Rohilla, submit that they do not wish to pursue this FIR any further, in view of the settlement arrived at between them and the petitioner.

Keeping in mind that a quarrel took place between the landlord and tenant and her husband, wherein tenant and her husband sustained injuries and now, they have settled their disputes amicably, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.

468/2016 under Sections 323/509/506/354(A)/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sarai Rohilla and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
