Crl. M.C. 1670/2017 & Crl. M.A. 6766/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. moved by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.11/2016, under Section 354 IPC, registered at P.S. Greater Kailash - I, New Delhi.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the incident took place at Kailash Colony Market, New Delhi, where due to parking issue some misunderstanding had taken place between the petitioner and respondent No.2, which resulted into registration of aforesaid FIR. He also submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and close friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled which has been

reduced into writing vide Compromise Deed dated 07.01.2016 and that nothing remains to be adjudicated. He further submits that the present FIR is coming as a hurdle in the future life of the petitioner and prays that the present FIR may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant is present in person and has been identified by the Investigating Officer, ASI Yogesh Kumar and admits that she has amicably resolved all disputes with the petitioner voluntarily without there being any threat, coercion or pressure of any sort. She further submits that she has no objection, if the present FIR is quashed. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing is to be adjudicated further, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR in question. Consequently, to meet the ends of justice, the FIR No.11/2016, under Section 354 IPC, registered at P.S. Greater Kailash - I, New Delhi and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. Parties to remain bound by the terms of the Compromise Deed dated 07.01.2016. The petition and the accompanying application are disposed of accordingly.
