% 02.09.2016 Crl.M.A. 13597-13598/2016 (Exemption) Applications are allowed subject to just exceptions. Crl.M.C. 317/2016 The present petition has been filed against the dismissal of revision petition vide order dated 06.06.2016 which was filed against the order dated 08.02.2016 vide which the application filed by the petitioner was dismissed. The prayer made in the application was that the call record of the mobile phones of the raiding party may be preserved and handed over.
Vide order dated 08.02.2016, learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Court made the observation that no mobile phone number was given.
It was further observed that the Special Cell is specialised investigating agency indulged in operation of national interest pertaining to terrorist and gangster and if such details
of call are provided to the accused it may have the tendency to jeopardize the national security.
Thereafter, the petitioner filed a revision petition which was also dismissed.
I have heard the counsel for the petitioner.
This Court does not find any illegality or ambiguity in the order dismissing the application by the Trial Court or dismissing the revision petition by the Court of Session.
