O R D E R

% 18.08.2017 Crl.M.A.13286/2017 (modification of order) in W.P.(CRL) 1247/2017 The petitioner has sought modification of the order dated 23.05.2017 passed by this court whereby the petitioner was released on furlough. The petitioner, according to the order, was directed to furnish a bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of the concerned jail for being released on furlough. It has been submitted that because of the long incarceration of the petitioner and his poverty, he is not in a position to arrange for surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/-. He, therefore, prayed that he may be allowed to furnish his bond and the cash surety of Rs.10,000/-.

For the reasons stated in the application, the prayer is allowed. The order dated 23.05.2017 passed in W.P.(CRL) 1247/2017 is modified to the

extent that the petitioner be released on furlough on his furnishing a personal bond with cash surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of the concerned jail.

The other conditions which were imposed upon the petitioner in the order dated 23.05.2017 shall continue to subsist.
