versus THE STATE (GNCT OF DELHI) ..... Respondent Through Mr. Rahul Mehra, St. Counsel with Mr.Jamal Akhtar, Adv.

SI Ashish PS Bhajanpura.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR

O R D E R

% 26.07.2017 The petitioner has challenged the order dated 07.03.2017 passed by the competent authority whereby the petitioner has been refused the first spell of furlough.

The reason assigned by the competent authority is that the petitioner, while on parole, jumped the same for about 5 years from 04.12.2010 to 13.07.2015.

The nominal roll also indicates that after he was re-arrested, he was found in possession of two mobile SIM cards which is a prohibited article in jail.

This Court finds no reason to differ with the opinion of the competent authority that the concession of furlough be not given to the petitioner. The writ petition, therefore, is dismissed.
