O R D E R

% 19.04.2017 The petitioner seeks directions to ensure that departments of various state agencies i.e. the Central Government, Government of NCT of Delhi and the municipal authorities clearly indicate those W.P.(C) 8451/2014

officials designated as directors of public grievances and the effective mechanism adopted by such officials/authorities to address individual grievances. In response to the writ petition the Central Government has filed an affidavit indicating that its various departments have already listed the concerned officials as public grievance officials of the directors. A copy of the list has been filed and is part of the record. The list indicates the names of the concerned individuals, their address, e-mail Ids etc. The Government of NCT of Delhi likewise in its affidavit has listed various authorities, including police, special police wing for women, RTI authorities and public grievance cell, public grievance cells of various agencies and a centralised public grievance and monitoring system, and its public grievance commission. The Court has verified the position that the public grievance commission has its individual portal i.e.

www.pgc.delhi.govt.nic.in.

Having regard to the replies, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner's grievance having adequately addressed, no further relief can be granted in view of the wide nature of claims. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of along with pending applications.
