This appeal has been filed by the appellant, challenging the Order dated 26.05.2018 passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi (hereinafter referred to as, 'Family Court') in HMA No. 5861604/2016, titled Mukesh Maindola v. Renu Kukreti, dismissing the above petition filed under Section 13(1) (ia) & (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (hereinafter referred to as, 'HMA') by the petitioner seeking divorce from the respondent.

The parties, during the pendency of the present appeal, have entered into a Settlement Agreement dated 28.01.2025 arrived at the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, whereunder it The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. has been inter alia agreed between the parties that they shall file a Joint Petition under Section 13(B)(1) of the HMA seeking dissolution of marriage by the way of mutual consent.

The learned counsel for the appellant submits that such a petition has already been filed before the learned Family Court. 4.
Accordingly, we dispose of this appeal binding the parties to the terms of the settlement agreement dated 28.01.2025. 5.
However, the appellant shall have the liberty to revive the present appeal in case, for any reason, the terms of the settlement do not fructify.
