% 09.09.2016 CM No.32574/2016(exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

W.P.(C) 7869/2016 & CM No.32573/2016(direction) The petitioners seek a mandamus to respondents to recognize the M.D. (General Medicine) degree of the petitioners granted by respondent No.6 - University in respect of students trained in respondent No.5 - Nalanda Medical College.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue of recognition of the petitioners' degrees is pending since 2014 and no final decision has been taken by the respondents 1 & 3 till date. Learned counsel submits that on account of the delay caused by the respondents 1 & 3 and in recognizing the degrees, substantial prejudice is being caused to the WP(C) 7869/2016

petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondent Medical Council of India submits that it has received compliances and is in process of completing the re-assessment.

Reliance is placed on the decision of this Court dated 01.02.2016. in W.P.(C) No.829/2016 titled Raman Kishore versus Union of India & Ors. In view of the above, the Medical Council of India is directed to complete the re-assessment process within a maximum period of six weeks and thereafter, the process in accordance with law shall be followed within a further period of four weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti under signatures of the Court Master.
