O R D E R
% 08.11.2017 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is ready and willing to pay the respondent and her family an amount of Rs.3.00 lakh towards settlement of all expenses that may have been incurred by her and her family for the marriage arrangements. The learned Counsel for the respondent states, upon instructions, that the said amount is agreeable and acceptable by the respondent who is present in the Court.
The Counsel further submits that the said amount be paid to the respondent within 10 days from today. The petitioner has already joined the investigation. In these
circumstances, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner on 28.04.2017 is confirmed subject to the following additional conditions:
(i) The petitioner shall not leave the country without the prior permission of the Court;
(ii) The petitioner's mobile telephone No.
9871599440 shall be operational at all times to facilitate the police to contact him; (iii) The petitioner shall make no attempt, directly or indirectly, to contact the complainant or her relatives nor make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him or her from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer or tamper with the evidence; and (v) The petitioner shall not make any effort to evade the process of law. Nothing stated in this order shall have any bearing on the merits of the case.
(vi) The said money shall be paid to the complainant through her counsel, as noted above within 10 days. An intimation of the said payment shall be made to the I.O. by the petitioner.
