% 17.05.2017 At the outset, an objection is taken to the territorial jurisdiction of this Court to entertain the writ petition. Mr.Nayar, learned senior counsel for the respondent no.2 also contends that the writ petition is not maintainable and that it is a gross abuse of the process of law. After some hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to invoke an appropriate remedy in the Court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with law.
The writ petition and the pending applications are accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
