% 31.08.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 14 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court on 24th May, 2018, therefore, FIR No. 119/2018 under Section 420 IPC registered at police station Dabri and the consequent proceedings may be quashed.
Respondent no. 14 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Naresh Kumar of police station Dabri. He submits that he is also Attorney of respondent nos. 2 to 13. Special Power of Attorney has been placed on record. Respondent no.14 submits that matter has been settled between the petitioner and respondent nos. 2 to 14, before the Delhi Mediation Centre.
He also submits that entire settled amount stands paid, inasmuch as, other terms of the settlement have also been complied with. He submits that respondent nos. 2 to 14 have no objection in case FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 14 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
