O R D E R

% 23.05.2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ramphal of police station Bharat Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini Court, Delhi on 8th February, 2016, inasmuch as, received entire settled amount of `40,000/- from the petitioner. He has no objection in case FIR No. 59/2014 under Sections 279/337 and 338 IPC registered at police station Bharat Nagar is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily before the Mediation Centre, in my view, no

fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, aforementioned FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
