W.P.(C) 7806/2016 & C.M. No.32286/2016 Petitioner before this Court is stated to be a squatter near NTPC plot gate, CGO Complex backside Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. To substantiate this submission he has placed on record a prosecution challan which is of the year 2006. His additional submission is that he is protected under section 3(3) of the of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street

Vending) Act, 2014. Per contra learned counsel for the respondent submits that the prosecution challan does not vest any right in the petitioner.

Be that as it may, since the Town Vending Committee (TV) qua respondent no.1 is also yet to be constituted. Noting these submissions, this petition is disposed with a direction to the petitioner to get his grievances, if any, addressed before the TVC qua respondent as and when it is constituted.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
