CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE P.S.TEJI

ORDER

% 03.05.2017 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for grant of parole aggrieved by the order dated 18th November, 2016 passed by the Deputy Secretary (Home), communicating rejection of the parole in pursuance of the request dated 8th September, 2016 made by the petitioner.

Apparently, the State has filed the communication of the jail authority from the Central Jail to the police to the effect that vide order dated April, 2017, the petitioner has already been granted

2/ furlough from 2nd May, 2017 and the date of surrender in jail is fixed for 24t1' May, 2017.

As discussed above, it is apparent from the record that the application was moved in the month of September, 2016 i.e. about seven months back and presently the petitioner has already been out on furlough since 2nd May, 2017.

In such scenario, the present petition is disposed of with the observation that the petitioner would be at liberty to move a fresh petition for the parole as and when he would be entitled for the same. P.STEJ1 J MAY 03, 20171aa S
