Mr. Gopal Jain, rleapaedxSeniOT, C appearing for the petitioner, submits that though^ the petitioner has availed the statutory remedy available under Electricity Act, 2003 by preferring a petition before the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (hereinafter referred to as "CERC), the CERC is sitting only on 2E' August, 2018. He undertakes to mention the matter before the CERC on 21 August, 2018, requesting that the matter be taken up on the said date itself, and to seek interim relief therefrom. Solely on this ground, and without expressing any opinion on merits, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents not to take any action against the petitioner, on the basis of the impugned notice dated 30^*^ July, 2018, till 21 August, 2018. 3.

It is made clear that the protection granted by order shall not continue beyond 21'' August, 2018 and the petitioner would have to abide by the orders, which the CERC, may deem appropriate to pass, for the period thereafter.
