The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that respondent be directed to decide the petitioner's application dated 27.12.2016, a copy of which is annexed with the petition. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that there is a suit already pending and the petitioner is attempting to circumvent the said proceedings.

This Court is not inclined to examine the dispute on merits; however, since the petitioner's application is pending since long, the same must be disposed of by the respondent. Accordingly, the respondent is directed to dispose of the said application and pass such orders as the respondent deems fit, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two months from today.
