After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is incarcerated since 2011 (except for some period on interim bail), the Trial court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses. 3.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State states that only formal and official witnesses are remaining to be examined. 4.

The Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the evidence and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from today.
