W.P.(C) 8685/2018 Counsel for the respondent-Indian Oil Corporation Limited states that she has obtained instructions and at the first instance efforts would be made to allot tenders to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes candidates and smaller/medium category enterprises. In case of any short fall, the respondent corporation would follow the policy mentioned in the notice inviting tender giving preference to the state registered tank trucks.

Counsel for the petitioner states that he is satisfied with the statement made. He seeks permission to withdraw the present writ

petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition, if need arises. 3.

In view of the statement made by the counsel for the respondent and the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. We clarify that we have not commented and made any observations.
