% 29.05.2017 This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner seeking a writ of habeas corpus for production of his missing daughter Ms. Ilma Shamim. Notice was issued in the matter. Ms. Ilma Shamim was produced in court on 23.05.2017, when she stated that she is a major and had left her house voluntarily. She had desired to go back to Panchkula to enable her to wind up her issues. She was directed to remain present in Court on the next date.

Ms. Ilma Shamim again is present in Court. She submits that she does not wish to join the company of her parents. However, she submits that she will provide one mobile phone number to her parents to enable them to remain in touch with her. She would visit them and join family functions, if called.

In view of the statement made, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
