O R D E R

% 29.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.501/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Gokal Puri on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed.

Petitioner nos.2 to 4 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Raghu Nath PS Gokal Puri. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She admits having received the settled amount of `2,65,000/- from petitioner no.1. She

submits that petitioner no.1 has pronounced talaaq. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 and that entire settled amount has been received and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No.501/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Gokal Puri is quashed.
