% 02.09.2016 C.M. No.32139-40/2016 (exemption) Exemption is allowed subject to just exceptions. Applications disposed of.
W.P.(C) 7780/2016 & C.M. No.32141/2016 Petitioner is stated to be running a stall since 2011 at the site opposite Shop No.36, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi. To substantiate his submission, he has placed on record certain challans which are of the year 2016. His submission is that even otherwise he
is adequately protected under Section (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 (who has appeared on advance notice) submits that these challans vest no right in favour of the petitioner.
Be that as it may, since the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of the NDMC (respondent no.1) has been constituted, the grievance, if any, of the petitioner shall be addressed before said TVC. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
Order dasti.
