% 02.09.2016 CM No. 32245 /2016 (exemption) Exemption is allowed subject to all just exceptions. W.P.(C) 7798/2016 & CM No. 32244 /2016(stay) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application has been made to the respondents for permission to permanently stay in India. The petitioners contend that the petitioners were Indian citizens and have taken the citizenship of Pakistan. It is contended that they were compelled to take up the citizenship of Pakistan. Application has been made on 31.08.2016 to permit them to stay in India as citizens of India.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case the application is disposed of in accordance W.P.(C) 7798/2016

with law.

The respondents are directed to dispose of the application dated 31.08.2016 filed by the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from today. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
