O R D E R

% 20.03.2017 The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He further submits that the charge sheet already stands filed and the trial is in progress. He further submits that to show his bonafides and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the petitioner and defences available to him and without it constituting an admission, he is ready and willing to deposit in this court an amount of Rs.5 lakhs to secure any claim that the complainant may have in respect of dowry articles.

Keeping in view the aforesaid circumstances, the application is allowed. In case of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon

furnishing his personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the I.O./arresting officer. This is subject to the condition that the petitioner deposits in this court an amount of Rs.5 lakhs within three months from today. The deposit shall be made without prejudice to the rights and contentions and defences available to the petitioner as well as to the complainant.

The said deposit shall be kept in a fixed deposit and its disbursal shall be governed by orders passed by a competent court. The application stands disposed of.
