The present application has been filed on behalf of respondent no.3 University Grants Commission ("UGC") for recall of the earlier order dated September, 2017 by which the petition had been adjourned sine die. th 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the present th petition had been filed alleging non-compliance of the judgment dated 24 August, 2016 passed in LPA No. 410/2014, wherein, it had been held that the act of the respondent in denying the rights of the petitioners to shift from Contributory Provident Fund ("CPF") Pension Scheme to General Provident The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Fund ("GPF") Pension Scheme was unsustainable. 3.

Subsequently, the said judgment dated 24th August, 2016 passed in LPA No. 410/2014 was challenged by the respondents in the Supreme Court. By common judgment dated 10th May, 2022, the Supreme Court finally decided the issues in batch of the petitions. 4.

It is the case of the respondents that pursuant to the judgment dated May, 2022 passed by the Supreme Court in SLP No. 29577/2018 and th other connected matters, the requisite amounts towards the payment of arrears were released by the UGC to the University of Delhi. The University of Delhi on receipt of the said amounts has already released the requisite amounts towards the arrears payable to the petitioner and other similarly placed persons.

Thus, it is submitted that the judgment dated 24 August, 2016 passed in LPA No. 410/2014, as confirmed by the Supreme Court, has been complied with.

Learned counsels appearing for the Delhi University as well as the UGC submit that the directions passed by this Court, as confirmed by the Supreme Court, already stand complied with.

None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 8.

Accordingly, considering the submissions made before this Court, the present petition is disposed of, as satisfied.
