The instant application under Section 151 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 has been filed on behalf of the applicant/insurance company, seeking permission/extension of time to deposit the cheque in pursuance of the order dated 11th May, 2024 passed by the National Lok Adalat. 2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submitted that the matter was compromised in the National Lok Adalat vide order dated 11th May, 2024 and the insurance company was directed to deposit the enhanced compensation amount, i.e, Rs. 5,10,036/- with the Registrar General of this Court within a period of six weeks from the date of the said order.

with due to bona-fide reasons as the concerned official resigned from his duty and the newly appointed official was not apprised of the same. 4.
It is submitted that upon apprisal of the order dated 11th May, 2024, the newly appointed official initiated the procedure and directed the accounts department to issue a cheque in terms of the said order. 5.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant also submitted that she has annexed the copy of the cheque bearing no. 140520 to deposit the said enhanced compensation amount with the Registrar General of this Court as per the directions of the National Lok Adalat. 6.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the claimants/non-applicants has no objection to the same.

Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and perused the contents made in the instant application as well as the order dated 11th May, 2024 passed by the National Lok Adalat.

In view of the above facts and circumstances and no objection on behalf of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the claimants/nonapplicants, this Court is inclined to allow the instant application. 9.
The applicant/insurance company is directed to deposit the aforesaid amount with the Registrar General of this Court in terms of order dated 11th May, 2024 passed by the National Lok Adalat within a week from today. 10.
Accordingly, the instant application is disposed of.
