W.P.(C) 7841/2016 & C.M.No.32418/2016 Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Revenue Assistant/SDM Saket dated 17.8.2016. His contention is that there is jurisdictional error in the aforenoted order as his contention is that the aforenoted land (subject matter of the writ petition) is an evacuee property which has not been considered properly by the SDM in the correct perspective.

It has been brought to the notice of the court by the learned

senior counsel for the petitioner that the next hierarchical authority after SDM is the Deputy Commissioner. He is advised to approach the Deputy Commissioner.

His further contention is that in terms of the order dated 17.8.2016 the petitioner faces a threat of immediate eviction. Accordingly, till next two weeks no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner. During this interregnum period the petitioner may approach the Deputy Commissioner, who may consider the case of the petitioner on merits as also on his application seeking an interim order.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
