Surender Kumar Oberoi v. Govt Of NCT Of Delhi & ORS.
$~6 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(C) 8509/2014 SURENDER KUMAR OBEROI ..... Petitioner Through Mr.I.J.S.Mehra and Ms.Tabbassum Firdause, Advocates.
versus GOVT OF NCT OF DELHI & ORS.
..... Respondents Through Mr.Gursharan Singh, Advocate.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE INDERMEET KAUR
O R D E R
% 04.08.2016 The petitioner in terms of the last order has placed on record certain documents which include GPA, deed of agreement to sell and an affidavit. He seeks demarcation of land measuring 4 bighas 5 biswas in Khasra No.105, Village Jaitpur, Sarita Vihar, South District, New Delhi.
Contention of the petitioner in para 1 of the petition is that his father had purchased 200 sq. yards of land in the aforenoted area; he has now become the recorded owner in the revenue record. This position is disputed by learned counsel for the respondent. His submission is that recorded owner of the land is one Mr.Ranjit Singh and even as per the documents brought by the petitioner he is only in cultivator possession of the aforenoted portion of land. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has made a representation
on 25.8.2014 to the Tehsildar for demarcation of his land but the same has not been considered. His vehement submission again is that he is in fact the owner of the land.
In this background, this Court is of the view nothing survives in this petition but a direction is given to the Tehsildar concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.8.2014 and answer it in accordance with law.
Petition disposed of.
