CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP NANDRAJOG
O R D E R
% 14.09.2016 1.
The matter was listed for September 13, 2016 which was declared a holiday and therefore is being taken up today. 2.
On an alleged compromise with the complainant quashing of IR No.134/2011 PS Chhawla for offences punishable under Sections 307/343/506/34 IPC is prayed for.
3.
The petitioners are the Jeth and Jethani of respondent No.2 : the complainant.
As per the FIR the petitioners tried to set on fire the complainant after pouring kerosene on her. I have perused the MLC which evinces homicidal burns. The alleged history of the burn injuries given by the patient as recorded in the MLC is that her brother-in-law and sister-inlaw had burnt her. 4.
Learned counsel for the State informs that trial has concluded and statements of the accused under Section 313 Cr.PC have been recorded. CRL.M.C. 2065/2015
5.
Noting as above the instant petition is dismissed for the reason the offence is serious and the relationship between the parties is of the kind where petitioners can dominate the will of the complainant and thus her consent for FIR to be quashed cannot be taken into account. 6.
The petition is dismissed.
Crl.M.A.No.7360/2015 Dismissed as infructuous.
