O R D E R

% 14.05.2015 Petitioner seeks parole on the medical grounds. Photocopies of medical prescriptions produced by the learned counsel for petitioner indicate that he has already undergone operation of his right inguinal hernia in the month of March, 2014.

Doctor has certified that he has developed left inguinal hernia also resulting in lot of pain and discomfort to him. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner was released on parole for one month in the month of February, 2015 and during the said period sufficient time was available with him for the desired surgery. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that mother of petitioner

died on 14th February, 2015 and petitioner got busy in performing her last rites and rituals, therefore, could not get time to undergo surgery. Keeping in mind the above facts, petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of 15 days from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner is also directed not to leave the territorial bounds of Delhi. He shall get himself operated immediately on his release. On completion of parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it upon the petitioner and for compliance.
